Coleman Rodeo Association - Rodeo Bands

Donahew, a native of Burleson, Texas, and his six-piece band does an excellent job of showcasing their eclectic mix of influences in their shows.
Like most Texas music bands, they are very proud of their home state, but most songs include references to Fort Worth, the closest major city to Burleson.

The Damn Quails sound like nothing or nobody that you have heard in a while. This act and their music will no doubt affect you with their harmony, their lyrics, and their performances. One thing that is very apparent upon even the first listen is how great their writing skills are. Any of their songs would qualify as a major artistic statement.

The Turnpike Troubadours, whose name is derived from the bumpy Oklahoma toll-roads and their hard lived folk singing heroes, are proof that isolation can be the mother of originality. Cutting its teeth in roadside dancehalls and honky-tonks has made a serious impact on the band's musical style, which walks the proverbial line between Woody Guthrie and Waylon Jennings.

The Dirty River Boys are quickly garnering a reputation as one of the most entertaining live shows on the scene today and deservedly so.
While they play a mostly acoustic set, the sound and energy is pure rock. Their combination of guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and cajon can be truly mind-blowing.
